Private Photo Sessions Expand at Disney World with Substantial Price Increase

Back in 2020, Walt Disney World launched “Capture Your Moment” – a private 20-minute photoshoot with a Disney PhotoPass Photographer at the Magic Kingdom where guests could customize their own picture-perfect experience.

The service quickly expanded to Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park and today, Disney PhotoPass announced that EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will soon have this offering as well, making it available at all four Walt Disney World theme parks.

For dates beginning February 24th, guests can book their EPCOT session for the following World Showcase locations: Germany, Italy, the American Adventure, Japan, or Morocco.

The service will launch in Disney’s Hollywood Studios beginning March 21st and guests can head “to the Hollywood Tower Hotel to take photos around its eerie grounds, capture playful photos with Gertie (Echo Lake’s resident dinosaur), get up close with the incredible details of the Chinese Theatre’s façade, or use the colorful neon signs and art deco architecture of Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard to evoke the golden age of Tinseltown.”

When the service first launched back in 2020, the cost was just $50 and did not include prints or digital downloads. The new price is $79 and we were hoping that either the session would last longer or that more would be included to substantiate the large increase in price, but alas, there are no new additions.

Each session can include up to eight guests. Advance reservations are strongly recommended and can be made up to 60 days in advance in the My Disney Experience app. A limited number of same-day reservations may be available; check availability online or via the My Disney Experience app.
