REVIEW: Are YOU Brave Enough to Try Disney’s Cotton Candy & Limeade Slushy?!

Galactic Grill is a counter-service spot over in Disneyland Park’s Tomorrowland area that features the occasional creative treat and delicious parfaits!

Alien Sipper from Galactic Grill

We’re stopping by this spot to see if their wide array of new, limited-time-only offerings will impress us! Let’s find out together!

First up is the Spicy Nash Chicken Sandwich (yes, that’s the real name of this sandwich), which features Fried Chicken Breast smothered in a Nashville-inspired sauce with Pickles and Mayo! This one is available for $13.29.

The Spicy Nash Chicken Sandwich!

The chicken was cooked well and had a nice, strong kick to it! Although the pickles and mayo weren’t particularly strong flavor-wise, this sandwich was still delicious and spicy — it’s got plenty of meat and plenty of heat.

Yum!

Next is the Magic Key Slush, which is a Pink Limeade and Cotton Candy-layered Slush with Whipped Cream and Orange Sugar available for $11.99! Honestly, we really enjoyed the cotton candy part of the drink, but that’s about it.

The Magic Key Slush!

The main problem with this drink is that the cotton candy flavor and the limeade part of the drink just don’t really mix together well. The tartness of the limeade and the sweetness of cotton candy don’t come together in the way you’d expect and it just makes this weird combo that we didn’t really enjoy.

This is a very stylish drink!

Finally, there’s the Galactic Sunrise Slush, which is a Strawberry and Lemon Slush that’s available for $11.49! Much like the Magic Key Slush, this was very sweet; however, this one is much much better!

The Galactic Sunrise Slush!

Unlike the Magic Key Slush, this drink mixes sweet and tart perfectly and even features strawberry chunks that bring a nice added texture to the drink. The Galactic Sunrise Slush was sweet, refreshing, and super delicious!

This was simple, but delicious!

Well, Galactic Grill was hit-or-miss this time around! Although we really enjoyed the Nash Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Galactic Sunrise Slush, that Magic Key Slush just wasn’t a winner for us. We’re hunting down all those new treats around Disneyland, so stay tuned here for more!
