Would it really be Mardi Gras at the Universal Orlando Resort without beignets? Sure, you can find bags of those fluffy, powdered sugar treats in the park, but the best beignets are just down the road at Universal’s Endless Summer Resorts.

Beignets with Bourbon Caramel Sauce – $6

Dockside and Surfside are both celebrating Mardi Gras this year with some special offerings, but we couldn’t resist trying the beignets.

The portion size and price is basically the same in the park, but these beignets are much different than what you’ll find at Universal Studios Florida. These are more of a traditional, flaky pastry with a slight crispy outside and fluffy layers inside.

Get ready for flavor! You can smell the delicious bourbon caramel sauce before you even take a bite. It smells like a decadent waffle syrup, with strong notes of bourbon and maple. We can’t wait to dig in.

These beignets are crispy, flaky, and sweet, just how we like them. Each bite was better than the next. We were extremely impressed.

These are by far the best beignets we’ve ever had at a theme park or resort. Forget the ones inside the park, hop a shuttle over to Endless Summer for these dreamy beignets instead.
