REVIEW: Do Cinnamon and NERDS Candy Belong Together? Disney Thinks So!

Controversial opinion: Disneyland is WINNING the snack game right now. Between all the fun Lunar New Year treats we’ve tasted recently, the Magic Key specialties, and the Valentine’s Day desserts, it feels like the West Coast is unveiling new treats ALL the time!

Let’s roll!

With so many fun new options to choose from, it can be hard to decide what to eat! Luckily, we try it ALL — the good, the bad, and the unexpected! Today, we’re trying a new Valentine’s Day treat in Disney California Adventure. How did it taste? Let’s find out!

During our visit to Cars Land, we tried the You Auto Be Mine slush, which is a wild cherry and cinnamon syrup slushie topped with Nerds candy.

We love a punny name

At first, we took a sip and tasted pure red-hot cinnamon flavor (like the candy). The next sip gave us a full shot of cherry flavor, so we mixed out slushie around to combine those flavors. After mixing the drink, it tasted MUCH better — we actually liked it! Once all the flavors were combined, it tasted like a sweet cherry slush with a hint of cinnamon, which gave the slushie a nice little boost of flavor that we loved!

Cinnamon and Nerds?! Weird!

Really, our only complaint was that it wasn’t mixed very well to start, but that was an easy fix! If you like cherry and cinnamon, you’ll probably enjoy this refreshing drink! If you aren’t a cherry person, you might want to avoid the You Auto Be Mine slush. This Valentine’s Day drink is available at the Serv-ICE Specialty Drinks spot in Cars Land for $6.49. In the meantime, stay tuned for all the latest Disney news and food reviews!
