There’s something charming about Disney’s BoardWalk — and we can’t quite put it into words.
If you’ve ever walked down the BoardWalk at night and admired the lights and the water, you probably know exactly what we’re talking about. And now for a limited time, we’ve got even MORE reasons to check out Disney’s BoardWalk! Come with us as we check out the NEW Valentine’s Day treats available exclusively at BoardWalk Bakery.
Starting February 7th, a BUNCH of new Valentine’s Day treats arrived at the BoardWalk Bakery. They’ve got new cookies, strawberry treats, cannolis, and even cinnamon rolls, all decked out in Valentine’s Day colors.
Let’s check out the Valentine’s Day treats! There were lots of goodies to choose from, but we decided to try four of them, including the Coconut Macaroon, the Marshmallow Kiss, the Mickey Brownie, and a Chocolate-covered Strawberry. YUM.
First up, we have the ultimate classic Valentine’s Day treat — a Chocolate-covered Strawberry! You can get a single strawberry for $4, a half dozen for $20, or a dozen for $32. This strawberry is covered in milk chocolate, sprinkles, and a milk chocolate heart medallion. You can also opt for white chocolate instead!
We were impressed by just how FRESH this strawberry was! The chocolate added a nice crunch and an extra burst of sweetness, and it wasn’t slimy like some chocolate-covered strawberries can get. It was a little messy once the chocolate cracked, but it was overall delicious. The downside? $4 for ONE strawberry is pricey. Still, if you like chocolate-covered strawberries, this is one you’ll probably want to try.
Next up is the Marshmallow Kiss! Take a look at this beauty. This treat is made of marshmallow on top of a sugar cookie, topped with white chocolate and sprinkles for $4.29. This is a truly Insta-worthy treat, and we loved the sugar cookie, but…the marshmallow wasn’t quite what we expected.
The marshmallow had a tough, somewhat fake-tasting marshmallow flavor, and a bit of a slimy aftertaste. Texture-wise it was tough, and hard to eat, too. If you’re all about quality sweets, this is probably worth a skip, but kids might really enjoy it!

Next, we had to try the Mickey Brownie for $5.79, topped with chocolate ganache and two milk chocolate ears, with Valentine’s Day sprinkles around the bottom. This is a classic treat that’s perfect for chocolate-lovers, but we did find it a little plain.
The brownie was not quite fudgy, but it wasn’t cakey either. It was also really dense, and we enjoyed the texture added by the ganache. But overall, it’s a standard brownie, with chocolate on chocolate. So if you enjoy the classics and a LOT of chocolate, you’d probably love this!
And last but not least, we tried the Coconut Macaroon for $4.59, which is a coconut macaroon covered in Valentine’s Day sprinkles, with a layer of chocolate on the bottom. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a holiday version of this macaroon! We’ll just start off by saying if you don’t like coconut, go ahead and skip this, because the coconut flavor is heavy! But it’s a good flavor, and it’s not fake-tasting.
We did find that the coconut was so densely packed that it made this treat really chewy, but when you combine a bite of coconut with the chocolate, it’s a delicious combo. There’s not a lot of chocolate though, so you still need to REALLY like the flavor of coconut to enjoy this.
