Popcorn, Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bars, churros, and DOLE Whips — you may already have these 4 Disney food groups covered, but if you haven’t ventured outside of these classic snacks you’re missing out BIG TIME.
Disney World is full of amazing snacks, including some unique treats you can only find at limited locations. Today we made our way over to one of our FAVORITE spots to grab a snack in EPCOT — Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie in the France pavilion — and found 2 NEW items. Should either of these be added to your must-try list? We’ve got the answer.
It’s a good day when you find a new treat in Disney World, but it’s an even BETTER day when you find 2 new beauties to try. Today we experienced that magical moment when we found these new treats at the France pavilion.
First up we have the new Viennoiserie pommes or Apple Crumble Pastrie. Back in December, we actually grabbed an Apple Crumble pastry from Les Halles (which we then hacked to make WAY better), but this one is different than the one we had before!
While the previous pastry was in a sort-of muffin-type form, this one is more of a circular, croissant-style treat. It was listed as a special item on the register.
Essentially, this apple pastry is a fluffy, buttery croissant with an apple pie-like filling. The filling has cinnamon and multiple kinds of nuts including walnuts and almonds from what we could tell.
The top crumble portion tasted to us like a sort of oat crumble with cinnamon. Inside the pastry, you’ll find really BIG chunks of cooked apple. It was served to us at room temperature, but we could totally see this being an even more amazing treat when warmed up!
Truthfully, we loved every bite of this treat! Our reporter who tried it shared that it is actually one of the BEST desserts they’ve had in Disney World in a while (and they’re not even a big apple pie person!).
The buttery croissant just went SO well with the oats, nuts, apples, and cinnamon. It’s like a delicious, apple-y, cinnamon-y hug in food form.
If you love apple pie, you do NOT want to miss out on this. Just be warned that there is a decent amount of cinnamon, so if that’s not your jam you’ll want to skip it.
Next up we have our secret chocolate pastry. This pastry is SO new it doesn’t even have a name! This pastry again features that fluffy, buttery croissant, but this time it has a chocolate swirl.
Wait, there’s more This new pastry DOES have a name — Viennoiseries Pommes (aka apple crumble pastry ) $4.25 pic.twitter.com/ObEEMvlymp

We really enjoyed this treat. Our only complaint is that we wish there was a little more chocolate on the inside to really give it a stronger chocolate flavor. But, it is nice as is if you’re looking for something that’s got some chocolate flavor to it without being overly sweet.
Also if you hate dark chocolate, we wouldn’t recommend this one for you given those dark chocolate chunks on top, so be warned!
Overall, if you’re looking for a pastry that is satisfying, but isn’t super rich or overly sweet, either of these would make a great choice! You can pick these up for $4.25 each at Les Halles. This spot can be very popular and have quite the line sometimes, so just keep that in mind!
