Looking for a treat to share with your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day? Disney’s All-Star Music Resort has you covered with the new Sweetheart Sundae, available at the Intermission Food Court through February 20. But you might want to reconsider this sweet treat.

Sweetheart Sundae – $7.99

Mickey and Minnie red velvet waffle with strawberry and chocolate swirl, hot fudge, strawberry sauce, and whipped cream

This sundae is visually cute, with red velvet Mickey and Minnie waffles sitting in pink ice cream, white whipped cream, and heart sprinkles. We appreciate the intention, but unfortunately, it all fell flat.

The waffles are served fresh, which is theoretically good, but their warmth melted the ice cream quickly.

Not to mention, our waffles were raw and doughy in the middle.

The soft-serve ice cream is basic, with the strawberry flavor overpowering the chocolate. Instead of hot fudge (they were out), they topped it with strawberry syrup instead and more strawberry was not needed.

This is a sundae to skip, unfortunately.
