Romantic Spots at Disney to Celebrate Valentine’s Day

Disney has created some of the best love stories of all time that have inspired people to love and dream. As we approach Valentine’s Day, I wanted to point out some of the most romantic spots at Walt Disney World that are perfect for celebrating love. I believe that Valentine’s Day is every day when you have someone to love, but I know many people love to celebrate this holiday. Disney certainly has some cute Valentine’s Day treats and merchandise.

Cinderella Wishing Well

Magic Kingdom may not seem like the most romantic location to some due to crowds, but I think it has one of the most romantic spots. There are two locations that I’d like to point out at this park. Spot number one is the hub grass. Planning a cute picnic, whether with your own food or snacks from the park to enjoy on the hub grass while looking at the castle, I feel it is something so special. My wife and I love to sit on the hub grass and watch the world around us while taking in the sights of Cinderella Castle.

Not too far from the hub grass is my next recommended location. On the right side of the castle, there is a wishing well. It’s a secluded area with a bench and a lovely wishing well. This is a cute spot for an engagement or you and your partner to make a wish together.

Hub Grass

Another romantic location not too far from the Magic Kingdom is The Grand Floridian. The Grand Floridan is home to the Disney wedding pavilion, and I feel this is such a peaceful and cute area to take pictures or go on a walk together. The Grand Floridan, in general, is a beautiful location to enjoy whether you are just there to go on a walk or to dine. This resort has a very romantic charm to it.

France Pavilion

Our next stop is the France Pavilion at Epcot. This pavilion has gotten busier in the past few years, but when the crowds are low, I feel that this is a lovely spot. This is the perfect place to make a toast to your love with champagne and a cheese plate or maybe a croissant. France is portrayed as a very romantic country, especially Paris, the city of love. This pavilion has some great people-watching areas and has some pretty good food for a date night, especially if you are a couple that loves Epcot. If being in the park isn’t your definition of romantic, but you love that French/Italian feel, hop on the Skyliner and head to the Riviera Resort. This resort has that European touch with significant outdoor areas filled with seating to enjoy the views. This resort also has some great food and a beautiful cafe.

Wilderness Lodge

This next one is at Wilderness Lodge. This resort feels like it is somewhere far away from Disney. The resort has some great walking areas along with some beautiful views. Geyser Point Bar & Grill, in my opinion, is a lovely romantic location for couples to eat and drink by the water. You could even see fireworks from Magic Kingdom above the trees if you get a good seat. This is also a great location the see the Electrical Water Pageant. This is a very relaxing place that makes me feel like we traveled away from Orlando to be at this location.
