If you pay THOUSANDS for an exclusive Disney World experience, you’d probably want that to include some line skipping abilities, right? Well, if you pay for one very pricey and exclusive experience, you’ll get just that.

We’re just a month away from the grand opening of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (a.k.a. the Star Wars hotel!) This hotel is less of a lodging situation, and more of an immersive cruise-type experience. Guests will stay for 2 nights in the Starcruiser, and we recently saw the itinerary of everything that you’ll get to do when you visit! One part of the adventure includes an excursion to Hollywood Studios, and while there the Star Wars hotel guests will get one special perk!

At one point during your stay on the Galactic Starcruiser, you can take a transport to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a bit of an excursion! You’ll be able to enjoy everything Batuu has to offer, with a plus. Guests staying at the Star Wars hotel will get FREE Lightning Lane access to both Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance! 

On the My Disney Experience account(s) associated with our Star Wars Hotel reservation, we saw 2 experience redemptions already prepared for the day on which we would be taking our excursion to Batuu.

The redemptions note that they can be used to access that attraction’s Lightning Lane entrance. The experience and number of guests cannot be changed.

So if you are planning a stay to the hotel, know that you’ll be able to SKIP the line at these 2 popular rides during that off-ship excursion. That’s a great added feature as it will allow you to experience those things and still do other things in the area (ideally) within the limited amount of time you have for the excursion.

If you’re not familiar with Lightning Lanes, they’re the new FastPass+ lanes. FastPass+ has been discontinued in Disney World, and in its place are the NEW paid systems guests must turn to if they want to skip the standby lines — Disney Genie+ and Individual Attraction Selection (or pay-per-ride).

Keep in mind that a stay on the Galactic Starcruiser also includes your park ticket to Hollywood Studios for that excursion and your Park Pass reservation for the day. It also includes a quick service meal at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo or other select locations in Disney’s Hollywood Studios on that day you’ll be out exploring.

According to a Cast Member we spoke with, the experience will also include some special MagicBands. And since it is an immersive experience, it will also include food and beverages on the Starcruiser and more.

Again, as we noted above, the Star Wars hotel really isn’t a hotel at all. It’s an immersive experience that is meant to put YOU at the center of your very own Star Wars story.
