This Weather Forecast Proves How INCONSISTENT Disney World Weather Can Be!

You can control a LOT of things when it comes to planning a Disney World vacation! Dedicated Disney planners can make dining reservations 60 days in advance, savvy money-savers can look for discounts to apply to their room reservations, and some guests like to control their spending in the parks by using Disney gift cards! But (sadly) we can’t control the weather in Disney World, and last we checked, Disney doesn’t have any plans to build a weather bubble around the parks — darn!

We’re nearing the middle of February already!

Speaking of weather, our friends visiting the parks next week might want to check out the forecast in Orlando, so let’s take a look at next week’s weather forecast in Disney World!

Weather Forecast

We’re coming up on Valentine’s Day, and it’s already almost mid-February — time flies! Last week, the temperature reached a high of 70°, with lows in the 50s. This week, it might warm up!

Fingers crossed for good weather!

Say goodbye to the freezing cold weather we saw in January — the weather forecast for next week looks nice and sunny! According to The Weather Channel, you can expect your days to be pretty comfortable for the third week of February, with lows hovering around the 60s throughout the week.

February 14th

Monday, February 14th (AKA Valentine’s Day!!) looks sunny and bright! The temperature will be close to 60° during the day, but it will go down to around 40° in the evening. The good news is that this seems to be the coolest night of the week, so it’s all up from here!

We noticed that it looks like it might be a little windy throughout the day, so you probably want to pack a light jacket in case you get chilly!

February 15th

On Tuesday, February 15th, the weather is already warming up! Luckily, there’s a very low chance of precipitation, so don’t let an overcast sky scare you.

Although there’s a low chance of rain, we still recommend packing an umbrella, poncho, or rain jacket — you never know when it might decide to sprinkle (or downpour!!).

February 16th

On Wednesday, February 16th, the temperature continues to climb! The high for the day is 75° and the low is 62°, which should make for a BEAUTIFUL day in Disney World (if this prediction holds true). A word of caution: look out for breezy conditions! The wind can make you feel a little chilly, even on a nice day.

Also, take note of the humidity! On Wednesday, the humidity climbs from 64% to 87% throughout the day.

February 17th

On Thursday, February 17th, the temperature reaches 79°, which is the highest temperature we’ve seen so far this week! The low is 66°, with 70-80% humidity. Look out for that wind, again, though! It’s predicted to come in at 10 to 20 mph during the day.

So far, it’s shaping up to be an AMAZING week in Disney World!

February 18th

For Friday, February 18th, we finally reach 83° — thank you, mother nature! We haven’t seen weather this warm in a LONG time.

There’s a 15-24% chance of rain throughout the day, but in Florida, a little rain can blow through in no time!

February 19th

By now, you’ve probably got a pretty good idea of what to pack based on the weather. On Saturday, February 19th, it will be another nice day, with a high of 78° and a low of 57°.

With such a nice week ahead of you, we hope you’re feeling excited! The weather can be a little all-over-the-place this time of year, so it’s great to see such a nice forecast this week.

February 20th

Finally, Sunday, February 20th ends the week with a high of 74° and a low in the evening of 58°. Just one week earlier, it was MUCH chillier!

The forecast looks super promising, and you can probably get away with wearing t-shirts in winter. That said, we still suggest packing a few long sleeve tops or a midweight jacket. Sometimes, the temperature and the real-feel temperature are two VERY different things!

Overview of the Week

Here is a full overview of the week courtesy of The Weather Channel. The temperature will range between 61-83° during the day, then drop to the 40s/60s at night. Keep in mind that these predictions might change, but for now, this overview should give you a good idea of what to expect.

Remember that Florida weather can be notoriously unpredictable! Keep your eyes on the forecast prior to your trip (and while you’re in Florida) so you know what to expect each day. There’s nothing worse than being blindsided by the weather!

How Should You Plan?

Now, let’s look at a few ways you prepare for the week ahead!

Wear sunscreen!

Yes, we’re here to be your mom for a second. Put on your sunscreen — even on a cloudy day! You don’t want to be the person with a sunburn because it’s no fun, and the Florida sun is pretty powerful.

Sunscreen is your friend

Whatever you do, try to AVOID buying sunscreen in the Disney gift shops! It tends to be overpriced in the parks, so stock up and bring sunscreen from home if you can.

The Gear Our Team ACTUALLY Uses When We Visit Disney World

Bring a portable charger!

The one downside to sunny weather? It can drain your phone battery! Now more than ever, you’re going to need your phone pretty much all day in Disney World, so make sure you’ve got a charger you can take to the parks.

Phone Charger

If you don’t have a portable charger, look for a FuelRod portable charger kiosk! Disney has a few tucked away in the parks and resorts.
