Greetings from the Universal Orlando Resort! We arrived bright and early this morning ready to check out the brand new Universal Monsters Tribute Store.
The new store opened this morning and we were the very first to walk in the doors. We were excited to check out this themed store full of all of our favorite classic monsters. From the moment you walk in, you are fully immersed. Be sure to check out our post and full video tour on our YouTube channel.
We also learned that several items on display were used in the actual “Mummy” films.
You can also get your fortune from a fortune teller for $1. We couldn’t resist.
Rock the Universe is this weekend and a new shirt and sweatshirt are available to commemorate the event. The shirt is $30 and the sweatshirt is $52.
Final preparations around the park for Rock the Universe. It’s good to have concerts back.
Seeing a high school marching band performing in the park is always a nice surprise.
Inside the Williams of Hollywood Prop Shop, another mirror from Shrek 4-D is available, but this one is a little more affordable. We’re told the history of this mirror goes back as far as Alfred Hitchcock: The Art of Movie Making.
It’s a busy day and the sky is blue, but Seuss Landing looks kind of sad when you enter. Thankfully, they have been doing a lot of repainting and repairs around the land.
The refreshed paint colors around the land look really good compared to the old ones.
It looks like King Julien is lost in the Lost Continent. These Team Members were doing their best to entertain guests, but it just wasn’t the same without our favorite lemur.
There’s some cute dinosaur stuff in the Jurassic Outfitters gift shop. The headband with the tiny dino is so cute.
There’s a new Mr. DNA sweatshirt in the Dino Store. Take a closer look in our post here.
That’s all for this visit to the parks. Thanks for joining us today around the Universal Orlando Resort and we’ll see you next time, Stay tuned!
