What Type of Weather Should You Be Prepared for in Disney World Next Week?

Things are changing FAST in Disney World! One minute, we’re enjoying the new Adventure Friends cavalcade, and the next minute, we’re finding out about Disney’s latest mask policy update! On top of all that, we’re trying to get a handle on the weather this month, which seems to fluctuate between warm and cool on a weekly basis. There’s almost always something new happening in Disney World, and we’re here to share it ALL!

We’ll never get tired of Slinky Dog Dash!

If you’ve got a vacation to Disney World coming up toward the end of February (where did this month go?!), you’ll want to keep an eye on the weather forecast in Orlando. Mother Nature has been a little all over the place lately, so we’re back to take a look at next week’s weather forecast in Disney World!

Weather Forecast

Somehow, it’s already almost March — can you believe it?! Last week, the temperature reached up to the 80s in terms of the highs, with lows in the 60s. This week, it might warm up even more! (We’ll keep our fingers crossed for those of you seeking that warmth!)

Fingers crossed for blue skies!

If this warm weather keeps up, that freezing cold weather we saw in January will soon be just a distant (unpleasant) memory. According to The Weather Channel, you can expect your days to be pretty nice for the last full week of February, with lows hovering around the 60s throughout the week.

February 21st

Monday, February 21st looks sunny and warm! The temperature will be close to 80° during the day, and it will go down to around 60° in the evening. That’s a pretty good way to start off the week!

We noticed that it looks like it might be a little windy throughout the day, so you might want to pack a lightweight jacket (maybe a zip-up hoodie?) just in case you get a little cold — especially indoors.

February 22nd

On Tuesday, February 22nd, the weather continues to warm up! Based on the forecast, there’s a very low chance of precipitation, which is good news if you want to hit the pool or hang out outside!

You’ll see that throughout the week, the chance of rain stays pretty low. We still recommend packing an umbrella, poncho, or rain jacket though — you never know when it might decide to rain (especially in Central Florida!).

February 23rd

On Wednesday, February 23rd, the temperature continues to climb! The high for the day is almost 90° (WHAT?!!) and the low is 65°, which should make for pretty warm day in Disney World with a cool-ish night. There aren’t too many places in the U.S. where you’ll find 90° weather in the middle of winter.

We also suggest that you take note of the humidity! On Wednesday, the humidity climbs from 58% to 85% throughout the day. Especially in Florida, the humidity plays a big part in the weather.

February 24th

On Thursday, February 24th, the temperature reaches 91°(!!), with a low chance of rain and plenty of sunshine! The low is 65°, with 60-80% (ish) humidity throughout the day. Look out for that wind, though! It’s predicted to come in at 10 to 15 mph during the day, so be prepared for that.

It’s shaping up to be a pretty beautiful week in Disney World if you’re after sunshine in the day and a bit of coolness in the evenings — talk about good news!

February 25th

For Friday, February 25th, we’re expected to see the temperature reach 90°. Last week the weather was pretty warm, but this week is looking even WARMER!

There’s a 13% chance of rain during the day, and the evening looks like it’ll be partly cloudy.

February 26th

By now, you’ve probably got a pretty good idea of what the weather will look like for the week. On Saturday, February 26th, there will be a high of 81° and a low of 62°. Sunshine and clouds are expected to be a bit of a mix during the day.

You can probably get away with t-shirts and shorts for the week, but you might want to pack a pair or two of pants/leggings and a light sweater for those cooler moments (just in case!).

February 27th

Finally, Sunday, February 27th ends the week with a high of 79° and a low in the evening of 60°. This looks like it’s going to be the coolest day of the week. The rain chance does appear to go up this day and it is expected to be cloudy, so prepare for that!

This week’s forecast looks pretty promising.

Overview of the Week

Here is a full overview of the week thanks to The Weather Channel. The temperature will range between 79-91° during the day, then drop to the 60s at night. Keep in mind that these predictions can change, but for now, this overview should give you a good idea of what to expect for the week.

We checked a few other websites, like Click Orlando News 6…

…and WESH 2 News. It looks like everyone is reporting fairly similar forecasts.

Remember that Florida weather is notoriously inconsistent! Keep your eyes on the forecast so you know what to expect each day. There’s nothing worse than being unprepared for the weather!

How Should You Plan?

Now, let’s look at a few ways you prepare for the week ahead!

One word: SUNGLASSES!

Not all sunglasses are created equal! Bring your best pair of shades to protect your eyes from the bright Florida sun. Even though it’s winter, the sun can really beat down on ya throughout the day!

Get yourself a good pair of sunglasses

While we’re at it, we should probably toss in an obligatory reminder to pack some quality sunscreen! 9o° weather and sunny days are a recipe for sunburn if you aren’t prepared.

Think ahead!

Try and mentally walk through your day at the parks. You’ll likely be on your phone a lot, so make sure you’ve got a charger you can take to the parks. Plan on doing some shopping? Bring Disney gift cards!

Essentials!

The more you prepare ahead of time, the smoother your vacation will feel.
