Sorry, Ariel, but we don’t want to be where the people are — we want to be where the animals are!

Rhino!

We stop by Disney’s Animal Kingdom constantly to look at new Minnie ears, eat some cheeseburger pods, and “ooh” and “aah” over some baby animals. So come along with us now and we’ll give you ALL the updates from our most recent trips!

Animal Kingdom Attraction Updates

Expedition Everest

Expedition Everest is closed for a lengthy refurbishment — but don’t worry, Disney World has placed a Connect Four game there to keep you entertained instead. No — REALLY!

There’s no line for Connect Four!

HOWEVER, we have seen them testing the ride, so that’s something. For now, though, we guess we’ll just play Connect Four instead — at least there’s no line!

Animal Kingdom Other Updates

Sand Sculpture

Well, it rained, and the rain didn’t exactly make for a great situation with the Ice Age: Buck Wild sand sculpture so it needed a little facelift.

Fixing the rain damage

We still find it amazing what Disney artists can do with sand!
