Disney World has a tendency to be VERY unpredictable! Just when you get used to a certain way of doing things, Disney will completely change the system and flip everything on its head. (*cough MAGICAL EXPRESS* *cough FASTPASS*) Despite the rollercoaster of emotions Disney manages to take us on, we keep coming back for more; Disney may be unpredictable, but it’s still FUN!

Speaking of random changes, we noticed a certain day in April might look a little different in Disney World. Let’s investigate!

Typically, the Disney World parks stick to about the same opening/closing schedule. EPCOT is known to open a little later in the morning, Magic Kingdom usually opens around 9AM, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom typically closes earlier than the other parks. Keyword: “typically“.

We try to keep our eyes on the park hours throughout the year in case anything changes; you never know when a random private event or party may change the hours for the day! Now, it looks like one Disney World park is set to close early in April. 

On April 6th, 2022, Disney’s Hollywood Studios park will close at 5PM. The rest of the week, the park opens at 9AM and closes at 9PM. The park will still open at 9AM on April 6th, though!

If you’re planning a trip to Disney World for the week of April 3rd through April 9th, you might want to check your plans and do a little modifying if necessary! There’s nothing worse than unexpectedly having your day cut short!
