Today in EPCOT, we visited Karamell-Kuche in the Germany pavilion, where we were expecting to find the Gingerbread Salted Caramel Buttercream Cookie Sandwich gone from the menu until the next holiday season. Instead, we found out from a Cast Member that one of our favorite Disney World snacks is so popular that Disney has officially added it to their year-round menu!
Gingerbread Sammie is here for the year!
Although we were previously told that this cookie would not be around past February, it was still there today for $5.99, and now it’ll be at Karamell-Kuche all year! No more worrying about visiting Disney World for the holidays in order to satisfy your Gingerbread Cookie Sandwich craving.

This cookie is made of two gingerbread cookies with a buttercream frosting center and salted caramel drizzle. The gingerbread cookies are light and fluffy, and understand that this is a BIG treat! It’s very easy to share with others.

The ginger taste in this cookie is strong, so this is a treat made for gingerbread lovers. The buttercream frosting is thick and sweet, and if you’re like us you might wish there was a little less buttercream and more caramel, since the caramel is so decadent and delicious, and it provides a nice overall balance to the strong gingerbread flavor. We just love caramel!
