Check Out Some NEW and UPDATED Snacks at Disney World Hotels

Spring is a time for change, and Disney is taking that seriously with some BIG news today!

Port Orleans – French Quarter

There are already a lot of specialty treats around the parks right now, especially with St. Patrick’s Day coming up later this week. But now there are a few more offerings that Disney has introduced or brought back to menus around the Disney World hotels. Let’s take a look at the EATS!

Disney announced a few changes coming to restaurants around the hotels on property. First, Disney’s Old Key West Resort has revamped their famous Shrimp Fritters at both Olivia’s Café and the Gurgling Suitcase Libations & Spirits. The flavors should remain the same, but Disney reported that they made some changes with the ingredients to “help support sustainable seafood initiatives.”

And at Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter Resort, there are a few more savory options on the menu at Scat Cat’s Club Lounge. You can get a trio of powdered sugar-covered, Mickey-shaped Beignets (which we already know and love) served with red pepper jelly, pimento cheese, and a green goddess dressing. This snack costs $10.

There will also be an Oyster Beignet Po’Boy, which is a sandwich using a Mickey-shaped Beignet as the bread. Inside, there are fried oysters, lettuce, tomato, Cajun rémoulade, and house-made pickles. It’s served with potato chips. This meal is $15.

In terms of drinks at this lounge, Disney mentioned the Bebop Bloody Mary, which combines Absolut vodka, spicy Bloody Mary mix, shrimp, Andouille sausage, and celery. This drink is $15. The Syncopation Shift is another option for $15, and it has vodka, rum, mango rum, melon liqueur, and pineapple juice. Plus, it’s topped with a glow cube!

Scat Cat’s Club

Disney also announced that live entertainment has returned to Scat Cat’s Club Lounge, but it’s only available on select nights. Check the schedule when you arrive at this resort to see when you can find live music there!
