Checking In for A Stay on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

Guests arriving at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will check-in for their stay before boarding the launch pod to the Halcyon.

Directions on a shipping container will point you to the actual entrance.

On your arrival date, you’ll head to the Starcruiser Terminal near Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The exact address is below.

201 South Studio Drive
Bay Lake, Florida 32830

A concrete sign reminiscent of a Y-Wing ship bears the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser logo.

If you’re staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel, complimentary transportation can be arranged. If you are driving a personal vehicle, you will have complimentary valet parking.

Those driving personal vehicles will stop at a security booth. You will need to present photo I.D.

The road will take you directly to the terminal. Pull up under the porte-cochére for complimentary valet service (note: this is your only option, self-parking is not allowed).

We experienced white-glove service. The crew opened our doors, took our luggage, and greeted us with a tablet to get us checked in.

We arrived a little early, so we waited outside. Cast Members distributed cold water and classic “Star Wars” music played in the background.

We received a bag containing our necessities: a MagicBand and (to our surprise) a Datapad (iPhone) for each guest in our cabin. Instructions for the Datapads are attached to the bag.

The white Starcruiser exclusive MagicBands are included with your stay. There are other variations available to purchase once on the ship.

The band still has a Mickey head on the end, with a graphic of the Chandrila Star Line overtop.

Each guest receives a Datapad in a plain black case.

The terms of use for the devices are inside an embossed holder.

We found another surprise inside the bag — a golden Halcyon commemorative coin. There was one coin given per cabin.

It features the ship on one side and the Halcyon text logo on the other.

Of course, we had to take the iconic photo with the terminal logo.

We were given a warm welcome to the 275th anniversary cruise and asked to proceed in an orderly fashion indoors. Of course, everyone was a little excited and rushed to enter the terminal.

Check-in on your arrival day begins at 1:00 p.m. and runs through 4:00 p.m. Those who arrive early will be bussed to Disney Springs until 1:00 p.m.
