Crew members continue to work on details of the Xandarian Nova Corps starship outside Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT.
We recently saw wiring running up to the starship, possibly for lights that will illuminate the display at night.
A ladder was leaning against the starship stand but we saw no crew members at the time.
Any final wiring would have to be hidden within the stand or starship.
At the time, we also noticed red tape on a wing of the ship and the area smelled strongly of paint.
When we passed by again later, crew members were in a cherry picker getting ready to paint sections of the ship.
New green wiring was also then running up to the ship.
The crew members were lifted up to the top wing.
They used paint to add distressed details.
With the detail work, the ship will look more like it has actually flown through space and maybe even seen some battles.
Distressing is visible on some of the other wings. The black and brown paint makes it look a little dirty and rusted.
The next time we visited, the ladder and wiring were gone from the front of the ship.
A painter was working on the other side of the top wing.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is scheduled to open Memorial Day weekend. Check out a recent look inside the loading station.
