Hello again from Disneyland Resort!

There are some EXCITING things happening over here, from the recent announcement that Hyperspace Mountain is coming back, to the new addition of a single rider line(!) to Web Slingers in Disney California Adventure, we’ve been busy trying to keep up. And now there’s food news to take in as well. We recently tried a NEW treat in Disneyland Park — but is it worth your time and cash?

Disneyland seems to love putting out Star Wars and space-themed parfaits and we don’t mind! Recently, Disney released a NEW Ahsoka Tano Orange Vanilla Parfait!

This new treat can be found over at Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland. Previously, we spotted a Pistachio Cherry Chocolate Parfait here that reminded us of The Book of Boba Fett. 

This new treat is made of layers of orange sponge cake, white chocolate mousse, and orange marmalade — topped with whipped cream and candy lightsabers!

There are some crispy pearls layered on the bottom of the parfait as well. The sweet orange flavor from the moist orange sponge cake definitely stood out and was our favorite part! It sort-of reminded us of an orange cream soda (in a great way).

The white chocolate in the middle paired well with the orange flavors, giving the dessert a good balance.

The orange marmalade added even more to that overall sweet orange flavor of the treat, but that didn’t stop us from wishing there was more of it! The marmalade was basically just located on the top. We wish that it would have gone all the way through the center of the treat to add more of that wonderful orange flavor.

We didn’t think the crispy pearls added much here though, because most of the dessert was already gone by the time we reached them at the bottom.

For $6.99, we think this dessert is a MUST-TRY for orange lovers. Could it beat out the beloved Citrus Swirl, at least in your book? You’ll have to try it to find out! If, on the other hand, strong citrus flavors and sweets aren’t your thing, this might be one to skip.
