Disney Springs
- Aristocrepes may be closed, but you can still get Bubble Waffles at Marketplace Snacks in Disney Springs.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Disney’s Old Key West Resort is replacing their classic conch fritters, which have been available since the resort first opened, with shrimp fritters.
- It is rumored that the beloved Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will be replaced with a new performance simply being described as a “bluegrass music act.”
- Victoria & Albert’s will be reopening later this year at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
- Cast Members of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort have been told that the Spirit of Aloha dinner show is closed permanently.
- Disney Vacation Club has announced plans to develop new villas at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, scheduled to open in late 2024.
Other Walt Disney World News
- Lake Buena Vista and the surrounding areas were under a Tornado Warning until 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
- Walt Disney World has announced several new spring treats and dishes coming to restaurants throughout the resort.
- Face masks are now optional for fully vaccinated guests on the Disney Skyliner at Walt Disney World.
Disneyland Resort
- We flew on over to Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland to try the new Key Lime Pie Slush. Read our review to see what we thought!
- Disneyland guests can now meet Mirabel Madrigal from the hit Disney film “Encanto.”
- The old holiday store at Disneyland Park has now become Merlin’s Marvelous Miscellany following the opening of Plaza Point Holiday Shoppe.
- Guests can once again meet Tinker Bell inside at Pixie Hollow in Disneyland. Tink had been appearing outside her usual meet-and-greet location as a “character sighting” since the park reopened last summer.
- Previously, we announced that World of Color would return to Disneyland! Today, Disney posted showtimes for the show.
- Disneyland Resort has announced that Red Rose Taverne is now serving breakfast again.
- Both Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure will be closing for refurbishment in April 2022.
- Here’s a fresh look at the progress of the ongoing reimagining of the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland.
- The Blue Bayou Restaurant in New Orleans Square at Disneyland will close for refurbishment on April 21.
Disney Cruise Line
- Disney Cruise Line has released a new video with a behind-the-scenes look at the new Walt Disney Theatre and stage shows coming to the Disney Wish.
New Merchandise
- The new “Little Mermaid” collection from Vera Bradley is now available at Disney Springs, as well as on the Vera Bradley website.
- The ear headband, plush, and pin from the Space Mountain series of the Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction collection have arrived at Disneyland Resort.
- A new ball cap inspired by Minnie Mouse’s classic flower hat and blue skirt is now available at Walt Disney World.
- With its iridescent vinyl fabrication and geometric design, this futuristic mini backpack by Loungefly on shopDisney captures the ambitions and spirit of Tomorrowland.
Entertainment and Media
- Marvel Studios announced on Twitter today that they fully support the LGBTQIA+ community and denounce any and all legislation that may impact the group’s human rights.
Disney+
- Disney+ has released the first poster and trailer for their next original Marvel series, “Ms. Marvel,” coming soon to Disney+.
The Walt Disney Company
- Employees and Cast Members of The Walt Disney Company are planning a series of walkouts in the next week in protest of the company’s response to the “Don’t Say Gay” bill.
