Want to SKIP the lines at some of the most popular Disney World rides or get a prime viewing spot for some spectacular Disney experiences? Then Disney Genie+ and those Lightning Lanes are the way to go!

We’ve seen a number of changes made to the Genie+ service over the last few months — from new ride additions to temporary adjustments. And now another change is on the way for Genie+ in Disney World!
Not too long ago, Mickey returned to Red Carpet Dreams in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which is a character meet-and-greet area. You can usually meet Minnie there too!
We also just saw the return of the Festival of Fantasy Parade to Magic Kingdom.
We had to say hi to Minnie, too!
But soon meeting some iconic Disney characters or seeing them during the parade is going to get just a bit easier!

Today, Disney announced that BOTH the modified character meet-and-greet experience at Red Carpet Dreams (in Disney’s Hollywood Studios) and the Festival of Fantasy Parade (in Magic Kingdom) will become available through Genie+ on March 11th, 2022!

We expect that the Lightning Lane area for the Festival of Fantasy Parade could in the same spot where it was placed when Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade was available through Genie+. But things can change. Be sure to check your Lightning Lane selection for directions as to where you should go for this prime viewing spot.

Ultimately, if you’re hoping to get a good parade viewing spot without having to stake out your little corner well in advance, or if you’re hoping to meet Mickey or Minnie at Red Carpet Dreams without having to wait too long, be sure to look into these Genie+ selections starting March 11th!
