To ensure we are equipping our readers with all the information they need, we will continue to report on all travel, safety, and COVID-related news that could impact a Disney Parks visit.
There have been a lot of changes to Disney World’s health and safety policy since the start of the pandemic. We’ve seen the rules fluctuate over time, and Disney has been careful to monitor the situation to adapt when necessary.
Recently, Disney relaxed its face mask policy for Disney World guests, though face masks were still required on all enclosed transportation. Now, there’s been another change to the COVID-19 policy.
Starting tomorrow, March 16th, face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated guests on the Disney World Skyliner. Disney stated that masks will also be optional for fully vaccinated guests on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser transport vehicle while traveling to and from the Halcyon starcruiser and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Keep in mind that face coverings will still be required on monorails and Disney buses for all guests (ages 2 and up).
As always, Disney’s health and safety policies are subject to change. We’ll be sure to keep our eyes out for more changes so you know what to expect during your next trip to Disney World.
We’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so make sure to stay tuned for updates!
