Some parks have closed and reopened, while others have closed, reopened, and closed again. Now, one Disney Park is closing its doors completely to guests as of tomorrow due to the situation with COVID-19.

According to U.S. News & World Report, Shanghai Disneyland Resort will close as of March 21st due to COVID-19. The last closure at this Disney resort was in fall of 2021 when Shanghai Disney temporarily suspended entry into the parks. Although this closure is not yet reflected on the main page of the Shanghai Disneyland website, the resort’s calendar is not showing any hours for the park indefinitely.

We also did not see any tickets available for the park until March 23rd.

Shanghai Disney Resort recently added a COVID-19 testing requirement to enter the parks — guests must present a negative test within 24 hours of arriving. Disney also added that the parks are operating at a limited capacity, rides will operate at a lower capacity, and all shows are temporarily suspended.
