Tiana from “The Princess and the Frog” is the next princess to join the Disney Designer Collection of dolls available at Walt Disney World. We first found her in Bay View Gifts at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Tiana Disney Designer Collection Doll – $129.99
Tiana is in a gold and white shimmery dress with a cape.
The dress is decorated with embroidered leaves and cooking utensils with a gem at the neck.
She’s wearing a floral gold headband in her curly hair.
She’s also wearing gold earrings and bracelets. The dress is a mermaid cut.
Tiana’s dress was designed by Launi King. Information about Launi King and the collection is included.

Caribbean Beach and Coronado Springs are hotels at Walt Disney World that have similarities in dining, pools, and rooms–but theme and transportation differences. (Updated March 29, 2022.) Recognizing that […]
Backlot Express in Disney’s Hollywood Studios has some new menu items: a southwest salad (with or without chicken), teriyaki chicken bowl, and smoked BBQ pulled pork burger.
We picked up all three for lunch. Read our reviews below.
Southwest Salad with Chicken – $11.29
Romaine mixed with Roasted Corn Relish and Diced Tomatoes topped with Pickled Red Onion, Cheese, and topped with Grilled Chicken Breast served with House-made Jalapeño-Lime Ranch Dressing
A version of the southwest salad has been served before, but this one has all-new ingredients. This has little flavor to it aside from the chicken.
The dressing has more of the consistency of just dressing rather than any jalapeño or lime.
The seeds add a little crunch. The chicken has some southwestern spices, but it has a weird texture.
This is okay, but nothing we would reach for again.
Teriyaki Chicken Bowl – $12.99
Seasoned Jasmine Rice, Teriyaki Chicken, Yuzu-pickled Edamame, Carrots, Cucumber, and Onions drizzled with House-made Lemon-Tahini-Chipotle Vinaigrette and Sesame Seeds
This is the best of the new options.
The vegetables tasted fresh, and the drizzle of sauce over them had a nice kick. It tastes like spicy mayonnaise.
There isn’t much flavor difference between the chicken in the salad and the chicken in the bowl. This also had a weird texture.
The rice was well cooked.
Smoked BBQ Pulled Pork Burger – $14.29
1/3 Angus Beef Burger topped with Slow-smoked Pulled Pork, American Cheese, Coleslaw, Crispy Onions, and House-made Sweet-and-Tangy Barbecue Sauce served with choice of Side
The BBQ in this was subtle and hard to find.
We didn’t taste onion strings at all. The coleslaw had no flavor and barely any crunch.
The portion size of the pork on the bun was small.
This mostly tasted like a regular cheeseburger with a slight hit of BBQ sauce. For the price, you might as well get a cheeseburger and add some sauce.

The tee is grey with some white splotches, with a green and blue pirate image on the front.
