Come along with us as we eat our way through the 2022 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival!

Fleur de Lys Spread

After checking out new merchandise and all the beautiful topiaries, we’re visiting the France pavilion to try several new dishes at Fleur de Lys!

The 2022 menu for Fleur de Lys has not one but THREE new dishes that we’re excited to try.

Let’s dig in!

Food

First up, we tried the new Croissant au Fromage de Chèvre, Herbes et Ail Rôtie, which is a Croissant with Goat Cheese, Herbs, and Roasted Garlic for $6.75.

Croissant au Fromage de Chèvre

This eat has an awesome texture with a crispy buttery outside that makes way for a soft inside. It has a LOT of goat cheese in the middle. You could really smell the cheese and it worked well with the light herb and garlic.

Still, the biggest note here has gotta be the cheese so steer clear if you’re not a fan of goat cheese!

Next, we tried the new Pan Bagnat Classique, which is the Niçoise Sandwich with House-Made Bread, Albacore Tuna Mayonnaise, Tomato, Black Olives, Lettuce, and Celery for $7.

Pan Bagnat Classique

This was a pretty basic tuna sandwich. The bread was a typical French style and the fillings were tasty but we found this eat to be bland. It was filling, but not the most exciting thing we’ve eaten today.

This spot also has a NEW Salade de Lentilles à la Lyonnaise A.K.A. French Green Lentil Salad with bacon and garlic sausage for $5.50!

Salade de Lentilles à la Lyonnaise

Though this dish might not look the most appetizing, we love it! The garlic sausage was delicious and had a very strong flavor. Plus, the bacon mixed into the lentils helped them to almost have a baked bean-like flavor. We’d certainly snag this again!

And the Beignet Caramélisé, Fourré Crème Vanille, Glacé au Caramel Fleur de Sel is back this year for $5.50! In English, this is a carmelized beignet filled with vanilla cream and topped with a caramel glaze.

We LOVE this dish! It’s thicker than a typical beignet, and the crystallized caramel glaze is incredible. It was a best of the fest item last year and we daresay it might make the cut again!

Now let’s check out the drinks!

Drinks

This year, there are four drink options to choose from, including a French Wheat Draft Beer for $5 (6 ounces) or $9 (12 ounces), and the returning VeRy Raspberry: Rosé Wine with Natural Raspberry Flavor for $6. If you’re a fan of lighter beer or a fruity rosé, turn to these options!

The fan-favorite La Vie en Rose Frozen Slush is also back for $13.50. This boozy slushy is made with Vodka, Grey Goose L’Orange Vodka, St. Germain Liqueur, and White and Red Cranberry Juice! If you’re a fan of the usual French slushies in EPCOT, you might want to give this a try.

And finally, we tried the NEW Grand Mimosa Cocktail, made with Orange Liqueur, Champagne, and Orange Juice for $14. We thought this was a pretty awesome and classic cocktail.

It pretty much tasted like an EXTRA strong mimosa and on such a warm day, it was pretty refreshing too!

So, how does this booth hold up?

Overall

Fleur de Lys once again stood out as a tasty booth for us! We’re typically fans of the festival offerings in France and this year lived up to our expectations. If you’re looking for a more unique eat — sweet or savory — chart a course for Fleur de Lys! And, if cocktails are a part of your festival plan, this might be a must-stop!
