The Disneyland Hotel has been around since 1955, and it’s getting some BIG changes soon.

In fact, a lot of changes are coming to Disneyland Resort, including a huge Downtown Disney makeover, too. Construction has officially begun for a certain Disneyland Hotel project, and you can learn more here!

Disney recently announced that a new Disney Vacation Club (DVC) tower will be built next to the Disneyland Hotel. This tower will be 12-stories high with 350 time share villas, and amenities will include a new pool, an interactive play area, a community hall, an outdoor bar, and lots more.

We spotted the beginning of construction on the tower back in January, and as of today, it looks like construction is progressing even more!

Ken Potrock, President of Disneyland Resort, posted on Instagram that “vertical construction has begun” for the proposed DVC tower, and he stopped by to take a look at the work in progress.
