It seems like there’s nearly always a new cupcake to try in Disney World!
We’ve seen some pretty exciting cupcakes in the past like an epic chocolate and strawberry combo, a cinnamon roll cupcake, a cupcake based on the Monorail, and SO many more! But today, on top of the Flower and Garden Festival kicking off in EPCOT AND Disney dropping 8 new treats in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there are also NEW cupcakes in Magic Kingdom!
The Cinderella Castle Mosaic Cupcake can be found at multiple food and beverage carts throughout Magic Kingdom!
This cupcake is part of the 50th Anniversary Celebration and is around for Women’s History Month. It specifically honors women who helped design the Magic Kingdom we know and love! We already saw the Haunted Mansion cupcake for Leota Toombs and the “it’s a small world” cupcake inspired by Mary Blair, but this one is based on Dorothea Redmond. It’s made from champagne cake and is filled with a raspberry champagne compote.
To top it all off (literally!) there’s a golden yellow champagne buttercream frosting covered in sprinkles and a white chocolate disc.
We liked this cupcake! The champagne cake was pretty on point flavor-wise, and the raspberry compote complimented it nicely. The raspberry kind of reminded us of pie filling!
We really enjoyed this cupcake, and it was something different than your run of the mill chocolate or vanilla! We’re always on the lookout for more Disney World snacks, so be stay tuned to DFB for more news!
