We tried the new prosciutto sandwich and cheddar lager soup, now being offered at Sonoma Terrace for the 2022 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. Keep on reading for our review!

Fiscalini Farmstead Old World Aged Cheddar Lager Soup with Toasted Fig and Prosciutto Sandwich – $7.50

We wanted to love the sandwich but unfortunately it was dry.

The flavor from the fig was great and it paired really well together. But we’re having a hard time getting past the stale bread, which tastes like it has been sitting under the heater for awhile.

The fig flavor also completely overpowers the prosciutto.

The lager soup is delicious, but it is thick and eats almost like a cheese fondue.

It has a complex cheddar note, which is the predominant flavor that we enjoyed.

But the soup is hearty and really can’t be eaten for more than a few spoonfuls.
