REVIEW: If You Like In-N-Out, You’ll LOVE Disneyland’s New Burger

We’re always trying all of the latest snacks in Disneyland!

Disneyland in Anaheim, California

We recently tried a couple of new churros, a Strawberry Lemonade Funnel Cake, and a GIANT Mozzarella stick, but we’re not finished yet! Over in Tomorrowland, we’re grabbing a few of the offerings at Galactic Grill. Are these items worth the cost and stomach space? Let’s find out!

The first thing we tried at Galactic Grill was the new Galaxy Burger. This is made with 2 burger patties, grilled onions, lettuce, pickles, a house-made burger sauce, and cheese. If you’re looking for the closest thing you can get to an In-n-Out burger in Disneyland, this is it! The grilled onions and burger sauce reminded us a lot of the burgers at that classic food chain.

Galaxy Burger with Fries

This burger was super messy! It was very heavy on the mayo, and that (paired with the mustard, pickles, and lettuce) made the whole thing a pretty slippery ordeal. Because of the generous sauce amount, the buns on this burger were pretty soggy.

While the patties on the burger were pretty thick and filling, they were unfortunately pretty dry as well. Overall, it was kinda bland and not super exciting, but definitely not bad either. If you need a basic burger to fill you up at Disneyland, or if you’re traveling with less adventurous eaters, this might be just what you need! It’s $12.99 at Galactic Grill, and you can use a Magic Key Discount on it.

And it came with a side of fries as well, which were thin and crispy.

We also tried the Key Lime Pie Slush. This drink came with a glow cube, and was $11.49. It was also eligible for Magic Key Holder discounts! This slush was SUPER sweet, but we’ve come to expect that from Disney’s slush drinks.

The lime flavor was pretty strong, and it brought a little bit of a tartness into the mix. Still, it wasn’t enough to balance out the sweetness. If you love sugary drinks and citrus flavors, this is a dream come true for you! When we mixed in the whipped cream, it made the drink less sweet somehow, which definitely helped.

The lime gummy that came on top of this drink was even limey-er than the drink itself! In general, we thought the slush was super refreshing, and it’s a great choice for a hot day in Disneyland.

That’s everything we tried at Galactic Grill, but we’re always trying all of the newest snacks that pop up around Disneyland, so stay tuned to DFB for more!
