We love it when a fan favorite returns to an EPCOT festival!
Last year was the debut of Sunshine Griddle at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival — and we were quick to review it! A few items quickly stood out, but does this booth still hold up…or will it suffer a sophomore slump? Let’s find out!
Menu
There are four food options on this menu, and they are all returning from last year’s festival! This booth serves up some breakfast favorites, with everything from Shrimp and Grits to Avocado Toast.
And if you’re looking for something unique to drink, they’ve got two options — a Froot Loops Shake and a Joffrey’s Coffee Cold Brew Cocktail.
Food
First up, we’ve got the Shrimp and Grits — blackened shrimp and cheese grits with brown gravy and sweet corn salsa for $7.25. Last year, these grits were nice and buttery while the salsa was sweet with a little kick. We were big fans!
If seafood isn’t your thing, you might consider the Avocado Toast with Marinated Toybox Tomatoes and Fresh Goat Cheese on Toasted Ciabatta. When we tried this toast last year, we found the center to be a little soggy, but this year…it stepped up in a BIG way! First of all, we need to mention just how GORGEOUS this toast is. Like seriously.
This year, you can grab it for $5.75 and it was worth every cent. The toast itself is buttery and delicious (gotta love a good Ciabatta!), and it’s soaking up some of that avocado flavor which takes it to the next level. They don’t over-salt it, which is perfect because it allows the avocado to really shine.

The tomatoes were really fresh, which was great! They also had a bit of a garlic flavor that wasn’t too overwhelming — just the best balance. The flowers are edible, but they don’t really add to or subtract from the flavor at all. This whole item altogether was just incredibly fresh and truly delicious…it’s a festival winner! And as an added bonus, it’s one of the dishes that are on the Garden Graze this year. So if you order it, get your festival passport stamped!
Another item at the Sunshine Griddle is a heavy hitter — literally. The Corned Beef Brisket Hash is made with Potato Barrels, Onions, Peppers, Cheese Curds, and a Soft-poached Egg with Tabasco Hollandaise for $6.25. We had this one last year, and we definitely recommend getting a bite with all the elements on your fork. It’s the best way to enjoy it!
For a sweet treat at this booth, the Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites with Cream Cheese Frosting and Candied Bacon are back again! We loved these so much last year that we just HAD to get them again. The filling is very generous they’re loaded with cinnamon and sugar — just the way we like it!
The cream cheese icing on top really paired well with the cinnamon and sugar, but the candied bacon…not so much. The bacon itself was delicious but the flavors didn’t blend as well together as we would’ve liked. However, we would still order a dozen of these little cinnamon roll bites in a heartbeat! (And scarf them down in minutes!)
You can grab the Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites with Cream Cheese Frosting and Candied Bacon for $4.25.
Drinks
Next up are the drinks at this booth. Cereal lovers and ice cream lovers will be happy to hear that the Froot Loops Shake is back! And great news — it’s BETTER. Last year, it was a little bit grainy and tasted like a vanilla milkshake dyed blue, but this year, it ACTUALLY has a cereal flavor!
This year, it’s a pinkish color and you can really taste the Froot Loops in the shake. We think that kids are going to love this one — it’s like having breakfast and dessert at the same time! Big fruity flavor, if you ask us. You can pick one up for $4.50.
Last, but certainly not least is the Joffrey’s Cold Brew Cocktail with Milk, Kahlúa Rum and Coffee Liqueur, and Vanilla Vodka. If you love coffee and alcohol, we’d definitely recommend checking this one out! Last year, it was pretty strong on the alcohol, so keep that in mind when you order.
You can get this pick-me-up for $9.50.
Overall
All in all, Sunshine Griddle STRIKES AGAIN. When this booth premiered last year, it was one of our favorites, and we’re so glad to find that it has held up to our standard! That Avocado Toast was infinitely better than it was in 2021, and those Cinnamon Roll Bites will likely still be a fan favorite. The Froot Loop Shake also made a major improvement, and it’s going to be a hit with your kiddos.
