*NEW* Enchilada de Mole Negro: Chipotle Chicken in a Corn Tortilla with Mole Negro, Avocado Mousse, Crema Mexicana and Queso Fresco – $7.50
This was our favorite item at the booth. There was a healthy portion of chicken that was moist and well seasoned.
The mole negro and avocado mousse were a hit. The flavor profile of the mole was rich while the avocado mousse added freshness.
Taco Vampiro: Barbacoa Beef in a Corn Tortilla with Crispy Grilled Monterey Jack Cheese, Salsa Ranchera and Esquites (Gluten/Wheat-Friendly) – $8.00
This taco was our second favorite. It had well-seasoned beef. The cheese on top was nice and crunchy.
The corn was also well-seasoned. The crema sauce had a really good kick of spice that paired well with the saltiness of the queso fresco. We loved this.
*NEW* Tostada de Chorizo: Plant-based Chorizo and Black Beans on Crispy Corn Tortilla with Avocado Mousse and Queso Fresco – $7.75
This is a plant-based dish and we didn’t really like it. The avocado mousse was the highlight.
*NEW* Poppy Flower Margarita: Curamia Tequila Blanco, Hibiscus Flower Tea, Cucumber Juice, Aperitivo and Lejay Blackcurrant Liqueur with a Chile Salt Rim – $13.75
The rim of this was way too granular and salty for the lightness of the drink.
It was very floral and, to put it nicely, tasted like a garden in a cup. None of us enjoyed it as the taste was very rosey.
*NEW* Hypnotic Margarita: Corazón Tequila Blanco, Ilegal Mezcal Joven, Rosemary, Hpnotiq Cognac and Lemon Juice – $14.25
We all enjoyed this margarita on the other hand. It was light and you definitely got the tequila with a hit of the Hpnotiq. The rosemary was subtle and the lemon was barely there.
We highly recommend this drink.
Craft Mexican Lager – $5.00 for 6 oz., $10.00 for 12 oz
