We stopped by Magic Kingdom this week and tried the new Women’s History Month Castle Mosaic Cupcake.
We picked this cupcake up at one of the Main Street Popcorn carts.
“As part of the 50th Anniversary celebration, we celebrate the hard work and genius of the women who designed elements in the Magic Kingdom which we still enjoy today.”
Castle Mosaic Cupcake – $6.25
Champagne Cake filled with Fresh Raspberry Champagne Compote and finished with Gold Champagne Buttercream, Mosaic Tile Sprinkles and White Chocolate Garnish
This cupcake was surprisingly dry. It only appears moist because the raspberry compote filling has soaked through a bit.
The champagne in this is extremely subtle. It’s like a vanilla cupcake with slightly sweet icing.
If you’re in it for the champagne, you may be disappointed because you might not taste it.
The raspberry compote inside was fresh, and it tasted like real raspberry.
It wasn’t bad by any means, but we wouldn’t get it again.
