Included with every Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser voyage is an exclusive MagicBand, which will be used as a “databand” during the immersive experience. This will be a spoiler-free guide to show you what the band looks like and how to use it during your stay.
Starcruiser Exclusive MagicBand
It’s a unique souvenir featuring a unique logo in place of the Mickey icon.
The Chandrila Star Line logo is on one end of the band. The otherwise plain white band is decorated with gold striping. This exclusive MagicBand is only available to Starcruiser guests and can only be received at check-in.
How to Use Your MagicBand
Your MagicBand is connected to your reservation and, therefore, your Datapad, which is likewise an essential part of your journey. The good news is that if you know how to use a MagicBand already, it won’t be difficult to navigate.
Upon boarding the Halcyon, you will be shown how to scan your MagicBand at one of the consoles around the ship. This essentially registers your MagicBand into the system.
You’ll find a matching logo on the consoles and doors where you will want to place your band — a space version of “touch Mickey to Mickey,” if you will. This will be important for completing your various secret missions. Some doors will only open if you have been invited by a character, so your MagicBand won’t work before then.
Your MagicBand is your room key as well.
You will also use your MagicBand to board Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance during your Batuu excursion.
