- The EPCOT Experience, which offered a preview of upcoming EPCOT Pavilions and attractions, is now closed permanently, as announced a few days ago.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- The fan-favorite Tumble Monkeys will soon be returning to The Festival of the Lion King at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Disney Springs
- After AristoCrêpes at Disney Springs closed permanently, the kiosk has become Swirls on the Water.
- Today we stopped by Swirls on the Water at Disney Springs and tried their Walt Disney World 50th Celebration Cone, DOLE Whip Flight, DOLE Whip Nachos, and a Sangria Float.
- D-Luxe Burger has re-introduced two limited-time offerings in honor of St. Patrick’s Day – the Dublin Burger and Irish Cream Gelato Shake.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Both Disney’s All-Star Music and Movies Resorts are serving a St. Patrick’s Day Mickey treat through March 19.
- The new Disney Vacation Club Resort Studios at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort are expected to open on June 20, 2022.
- The tasty Luck of the Green Cupcake has returned to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.
Other Walt Disney World News
- We’re approaching the runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend beginning March 31 and race routes have been announced. The route for The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler will go through two lands no runDisney race has gone through before: Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
- Extended evening hours have been announced for Magic Kingdom and EPCOT through May 25.
- Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can currently get a 25% discount on purchases of $75 or more on shopDisney.com.
- AdventHealth has broken ground on their new ER facility at Disney’s Flamingo Crossings Town Center near Walt Disney World.
Disneyland Resort
- Paradise Pier Hotel at Disneyland Resort may be facing replacement as leaked images have revealed potential plans, including concept art, for a “Toy Story”-themed hotel.
Tokyo Disney Resort
- With just a year to go until the $2 billion Fantasy Springs project opening window arrives, construction is speeding along in earnest to get the land ready for its 2023 debut! We took a look over the site to see what’s new.
New Merchandise
- The long-awaited first installment in the Mickey Mouse Main Attraction collection, Space Mountain, dropped today at Disney Springs.
- A colorful new collection from Lilly Pulitzer came out today on shopDisney and at the Marketplace Co-op at Disney Springs.

Disney+
- Marvel Studios released a new trailer and posters for “Moon Knight,” the newest Marvel series coming soon to Disney+.
- A sing-along version of the fan-favorite film, “Encanto,” is coming soon to Disney+.
- “Encanto,” has been re-watched by Disney fans over 180 million times.
- Ray Park, who played Darth Maul in “The Phantom Menace,” was originally supposed to be in the newest Star Wars series, “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” but his scenes were written out.
