Magic Kingdom
- We learned earlier this month that TRON Lightcycle / Run vehicles would begin push-pull testing at Magic Kingdom. We saw the first train on the track this morning.
EPCOT
- While the exterior of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is almost complete, another new attraction is far from opening at EPCOT. Let’s take a look at the construction of Journey of Water Inspired by “Moana.”
- The Minnie Mouse topiary at the 2022 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is now holding a 50th anniversary watering can.
- After some delay, the prizes for Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration are now available at the 2022 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort is famous for its Kitchen Sink Sundae, which Cast Members used to announce to the entire restaurant by a raucous display of yelling, sirens, and clapping. At least for today, St. Patrick’s Day 2022, the tradition is back.
- Housekeeping services at Walt Disney World Resort hotels are returning to their original schedule from prior to the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown. This means Cast Members will clean the rooms more often.
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is getting ready for Easter and will be celebrating with the brand-new Grand Cottage.
Other Walt Disney World News
- In honor of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” at Walt Disney World, Cast Members have been encouraged to participate in the 50 for 50 Disney VoluntEARS Challenge, volunteering 50 hours and attending 50 VoluntEARS events.
Disneyland Resort
- Award Wieners at Disney California Adventure has two new items available for the spring: Southwest Cheesesteak and Strawberry Shortcake Funnel Cake Fries.
- To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, a green corn dog was available at Corn Dog Castle in Disney California Adventure for one day only.
- Famous Disneyland Cast Member Maynard is retiring after 28 years at the resort to pursue creative endeavors. His final day will be April 1, 2022.
- We went to Red Rose Taverne at Disneyland today to taste “The Green Stuff” for St. Patrick’s Day.
- Schmoozies! in Disney California Adventure has some new shakes and an affogato available for the spring.
- We tried the new Toasted Marshmallow Churro (and dipping sauce) at Disneyland from the churro stand near Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters.
Disneyland Paris
- Less than two weeks after its debut, “Disney D-Light” has been updated and the new version of the show will premiere tonight at Disneyland Paris.
Disney Cruise Line
- The Cayman Islands are reopening their cruise ship ports after two years, with phase 1 of the reopening starting March 21, 2022 when the Disney Magic arrives.
New Merchandise
- The class of 2022 can now celebrate graduation with a Mickey ear headband available at Disneyland Resort. We first found it in Five and Dime at Disney California Adventure.
- A new “America on Parade” tee has joined the Vault Collection in honor of the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. “America on Parade” ran from 1975 to 1976 at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World in celebration of the Bicentennial.
- Mickey’s of Glendale, the Walt Disney Imagineering exclusive campus store, is hosting an online shopping event for D23 Gold Members. Two special collections — Sorcerer Mickey and Attraction Spiels — are available.
- The Disney Gift Card Twitter account has shared a new gift card design featuring Mickey, Donald, and Goofy hanging out at the Walt Disney World water parks.
- A new “Peter Pan” collection by Dooney & Bourke will be available at Walt Disney World on Monday, March 21.
- A new Easter balloon is available from sellers on Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom.
- Four items from the Disney Parks x Lilly Pulitzer collection have arrived at The Dress Shop in Downtown Disney District. The entire collection is currently available at Walt Disney World, so hopefully, Disneyland Resort will get more items soon.
- The newest Disney Designer Collection doll is Princess Aurora from “Sleeping Beauty,” now available at Walt Disney World.

Disney+
- Olivia Rodrigo and Disney+ have released a new poster and trailer for “OLIVIA RODRIGO: driving home 2 u (a SOUR film),” a documentary about the creation of the album, featuring new arrangements of the 11 songs.
The Walt Disney Company
- Disney Global Security is actively monitoring the hazmat incident which occurred in Atwater Village, bordering Glendale, where many Disney offices are located.
