Disney is no stranger to controversy.

We know not everyone can agree on everything obviously, but there are some things that have created more controversy than others among Disney fans. Certain snacks like turkey legs, shows like Enchantment, and even ride makeovers like Frozen Ever After! But, there is one thing in Disney history that might have been the most controversial of all among fans…can you guess what it is?

Remember the infamous Birthday Cake makeover that Cinderella Castle got for Disney World’s 25th anniversary? Some people loved it, some people hated it, and some people weren’t even born yet to be able to see it (it was up from 1996-1998, BTW!).

While we didn’t get another giant birthday cake castle for Disney World’s 50th (although there is a PhotoPass filter!), Disney has released merch with the design!

And now, there’s a NEW item you can grab — the Birthday Cake Castle Mug!

We found this mug over in Disneyland actually, in China Closet on Main Street, U.S.A., but we hope it makes its way over to Disney World soon.
