Magic Kingdom

EPCOT
- Space 220 Restaurant has an updated menu for the spring. We took the space elevator 220 miles up to try some of the new lunch items and check in on a couple of old favorites.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Just a few months after being completely refurbished, the furniture in the lobby of Disney’s Contemporary Resort is being updated and replaced. New check-in desks have now been revealed after being blocked off for a few days.
Disneyland Resort
- Refurbishment is complete on Crystal Arcade in Disneyland, which remained open while the façade was updated.
- The Twitter account chronicling the Disney Walkout movement in protest of CEO Bob Chapek’s handling of LGBTQIA+ issues claims that Disneyland Cast Members were asked not to wear official Mickey Pride pins in support of their peers.
- Cast Members have begun refilling Grizzly River Run. Refurbishment on the ride ends on March 30, 2022.
- Disneyland Resort is offering new “friends of the festival” experiences at their hotels during the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival.
Disneyland Paris
- The refurbishment of Disney Village at Disneyland Paris is set to finally begin this year and Disney has announced new details about the transformation.
- OutsidEars has shared more updates from construction of Avengers Campus at Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris.
Hong Kong Disneyland
- Hong Kong Disneyland has released the logo for their new nighttime spectacular, “Momentous.”
- Hong Kong Disneyland has reported that it trimmed its losses to HK$2.4 billion ($308 million in U.S. dollars).
New Merchandise
- After participating in lightsaber training, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser guests can get their own shield that looks exactly like the one used in training. Check out our unboxing of the Halcyon Light-Up Legacy Shield.
- You don’t need faith, trust, and pixie dust to get this new collection of Dooney & Bourke bags. The “Peter Pan” collection can be found at Uptown Jewelers in Magic Kingdom and at Elias and Co. in Disney California Adventure.
- A new collection of denim jackets inspired by some of the Disney Princesses is now available at Walt Disney World. We found them in the Emporium at Magic Kingdom.
- New plush of Chef Mickey and Chef Minnie are now available at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
- Although MuppetVision 3D is a Walt Disney World attraction, the new Wishables plush series for the attraction has arrived at Disneyland Resort first.
- The B1 interactive battle droid has finally arrived at Droid Depot in Disney’s Hollywood Studios after originally being released at Disneyland.
Entertainment and Media
- Disney did not invite Rachel Zegler, the star of their new “West Side Story” adaptation, to the Oscars this Sunday.
The Walt Disney Company
- During a virtual town hall meeting with Disney employees today, CEO Bob Chapek spoke about the “Don’t Say Gay” bill and the company’s mistake in not responding to it sooner.
- On Monday, March 28, we expect to hear some big announcements from the Investors Experience event, which seeks to promote the Parks and Experiences sector to investors.
