If you haven’t been keeping up with everything going on at Magic Kingdom in Disney World, you’ve missed some MAJOR news.
From the return of a fan-favorite parade and a new Minnie ears headband to a plant-based snack we really wish we didn’t eat, come with us to see everything that’s NEW in Magic Kingdom.
We’ll start off this list with the BIGGEST update by far.
Magic Kingdom Entertainment Update
The Festival of Fantasy Parade is officially BACK in Magic Kingdom!
The parade kicked off with Cast Member Grand Marshals, and they were followed by several incredible floats featuring Disney characters you know and love.
Did we cry a little bit when the music started playing? You bet we did. And one of the coolest things about this parade also returned: the Maleficent dragon float that actually breathes fire!
You can see the parade in Magic Kingdom at 11:30AM and 2:30PM each day now through March 12th, 2022, and starting on March 13th it will run at 12PM and 3PM daily.
See more photos and videos of this fabulous parade here.
Magic Kingdom Food Updates
Unfortunately, our next update isn’t a super great one. We tried the Plant-based Bratwurst Served with Tots from The Friar’s Nook in Fantasyland, and it wasn’t our favorite. The bratwurst itself didn’t pack much flavor, and we were disappointed that it didn’t come on a pretzel bun (like we saw in the menu picture).
If you’re looking for a plant-based hot dog in Magic Kingdom, we’d recommend the Plant-based Loaded Slaw Dog over at Casey’s Corner, which has a LOT more flavor.
But if you’re set on trying the Bratwurst at Friar’s Nook, you can get one for $10.29.

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates
There were a few new souvenirs in this park as well, including some new Minnie ears!
The Emporium
At the Emporium, you can get the Tomorrowland Celestial Ears for $29.99.
These beauties are VERY sparkly, and we think they’re a great accessory for your next Purple Wall photoshoot!
The stars on the bow and the outer material on the headband are holographic, which definitely adds to the futuristic feel.
Crystal Arts
At Crystal Arts, we spotted 2 new glass statues. One showed a pair of dolphins…
..and the other had a fish swimming among aquatic plants.
Both of these statues are $180.
Hundred Acre Goods
At Hundred Acre Goods (the gift shop near The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh), we found a very soft Steiff Eeyore plush.
Steiff is a German-based toy company that’s known for luxurious (and usually quite expensive) plushes, but this one is only $39.99.
And because we know you were worried, we confirmed that Eeyore’s tail was firmly attached to him.
You can find a lot of cute merchandise in this store, and head to the Germany pavilion in EPCOT to look for more Steiff plushes.
