Who’s ready to take a trip to Hollywood Studios?!
We’ve stopped by this park a few times this week to check out crowds, enjoy some new treats, and watch out for any news or updates. And we have NOT been disappointed! A lot has changed in the past few days at this particular Disney World park, and if you haven’t been in a hot minute, we’re sharing all that news here with you…let’s dive right in!
Hollywood Studios Construction Updates
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Do you love looking for hidden details in the Disney World parks? If so, you should know that one hidden detail in Galaxy’s Edge is currently unavailable — the dianoga in the water fountain!
This trash compactor-dwelling creature (as seen in A New Hope) can be found in a water fountain at the marketplace in Galaxy’s Edge. Unfortunately, for the past few days, it has been broken…so the little guy doesn’t pop up out of the water and peep at guests. We’ll keep checking to see if it gets fixed soon!
Hollywood Studios Attractions Updates
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
And speaking of Galaxy’s Edge, we need to talk about Rise of the Resistance! This ride switched to a standby queue (after being a virtual queue) toward the end of last year, and since then, the lines have been incredibly long. And as Spring Break travelers flock to the parks, it’s getting even longer!
This week we saw the line get up to a whopping three and a half hours at one point, and Cast Members were forced to move the queue around a little bit to accommodate all the guests. On that particular day, the queue was completely blocking the right side of the pathway, so note that this change may be in place if you’re visiting on a particularly busy day!

Hollywood Studios Merchandise Updates
Keystone Clothiers
Okay, now it’s time to move on to merchandise! In Keystone Clothiers (where you’ll often find Marvel and Star Wars merch), we spotted a new Pop Socket set that Marvel fans are definitely going to NEED.
This pair of sockets features Thor’s two famous weapons: the hammer Mjolnir and the mighty axe Stormbreaker. Buy the set for $30 and then you can split it with a friend for matching phone accessories!
Once Upon a Time
Need to add a little more Disney bling to your wardrobe? What about this new Cinderella Castle signet ring for $20?
It’s a simple silver design that won’t distract from your stylish outfit, and it’s the perfect way to subtly add a little bit of Disney into your look. It’s a win-win!
Rock Around the Shop
At the exit to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, you’ll find one of Disney’s MADE machines. These little kiosks are full of all kinds of fun customizable souvenirs, and this week we spotted some Encanto additions! A whole new set of magnets arrived, complete with designs for all your favorite characters, including Luisa…
…”Señorita Perfecta” Isabela…
…and our main protagonist, Mirabel! Each one is themed perfectly to the characters.
You can also grab a pattern with all three sisters at once. They definitely are “sister goals!”
And of course, we HAVE to talk about Bruno. Even though this magnet says that we don’t.
Stop by any of the MADE kiosks in Disney World to check out these new magnets and purchase one!
Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities
We’re heading back to Galaxy’s Edge for another merchandise update — the lightsaber sheaths have returned to Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities! You can purchase them individually for $49.99.
These gray bags fit the lightsabers perfectly and come with a carrying strap that you can sling over your shoulder. They also have multiple pockets on the outside to store any accessories you purchase for your saber. (Like other kyber crystals!)
Celebrity 5 & 10
And last but not least, we spotted a new kitchen item in Celebrity 5 & 10 on Hollywood Boulevard. This large Mickey bowl is $39.99 and would be perfect for when you’re entertaining.
It’s a great (and subtle!) way to add a touch of Disney to your kitchen. And while you’re at it, make sure to pick up some matching mugs!
