What’s New in Magic Kingdom: Pretzel Ears and a Derailed Trolley

Magic Kingdom has had a LOT going on lately!

Festival of Fantasy is BACK!

The stage show is back in front of the castle, parades have returned, and we even found some awesome Space Mountain merch. But, that’s not all — come with us to see what’s new in Magic Kingdom!

Magic Kingdom Food Updates

There are NEW spring treats in the Confectionery! They’re all covered with pastel M&M’s. You can get a chocolate-covered Mickey apple

Magic Kingdom Construction Updates

Frontierland

The Frontierland sign was missing its mounted antlers that usually hang from the top of it. Here is what it normally looks like…

…and here is what it looked like recently without them!

Where did they go?

We’ll keep an eye out to see if the antlers make their return.

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates

Frontier Trading Post

We found some new pins in Frontierland! We’ve actually seen these in EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but they’re new to Magic Kingdom. First up, we have this lovely Easter pin with Cinderella Castle for $19.99

…then we have these new Star Wars pins.

New pins!

These are also $19.99 each!

The Emporium

There are now PRETZEL EARS in Disney World! Yep, pretzel ears.

NEW Pretzel Minnie Ears

They match the Spirit Jersey that was released a few weeks ago, and just like the jersey, these ears are BUTTER scented.

Of course, we had to grab a pair to have the Mickey pretzel photoshoot of our dreams.

These look good enough to eat!

You can get them from $40!

Bonjour! Village Gifts

Recently, we saw a Dumbo Rosemary Begley painting in Disney World, and now there is a print available of the painting!

Such a colorful print!

You can grab it for $30.

Magic Kingdom Additional Updates

Main Street Trolley

The Trolley on Main Street, U.S.A. derailed recently while the Dapper Dans were on board. No one was hurt in the incident.

The Dapper Dans were swiftly evacuated from the trolley and the horse pulling the trolley was also taken away from the area. Cast Members then blocked off the area while the situation was dealt with.

Splash Mountain

Splash Mountain had a delayed opening one morning this week due to technical difficulties. It still had not opened at Noon, but it did open later in the afternoon.
