It’s been a magical week at Magic Kingdom (okay, yeah, we went straight for cheese there ).
But, seriously, Magic Kingdom can be a lot of fun, especially with the new Disney Adventure Friends cavalcade, the 50th Anniversary Celebration, and the Disney Enchantment fireworks show. So what’s been going on at Magic Kingdom recently? Let’s find out!
Magic Kingdom Food Updates
Cinderella’s Royal Table
There’s been a huge change to how you meet Cinderella at Cinderella’s Royal Table. She now has a spot set up where guests can meet with her (socially distanced, of course) and grab photos (sort-of like how things used to be pre-pandemic closures).
However, she is still the only princess you can meet here.

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe
We tried TWO new snacks from Pecos Bill recently. The Sun Bonnet Trio Strawberry Salad is a Mixed Green Salad with Strawberries, Tomato, Red Onion, and Edible Flowers. This one really surprised it, it was quite tasty!
We also tried the Teddie Berra’s Swingin’ Shortcake, which is a Peach and Raspberry Truffle with Crumbled Cake, Strawberry Pearls, and Flowers. We thought it was one of the best snacks we’ve had at Disney World in a while!
Try both of these treats for yourself — the shortcake is $5.99 and the salad is $9.99 (or $11.49 if you choose to add chicken or pork).

Refreshment Cart Next to Cinderella Castle
Disney World is trying to “up” its churro game with the 50th Anniversary Main Street Churro, which is s a Disney churro rolled in cinnamon sugar, dipped in chocolate, drizzled in caramel sauce, and topped with crushed pretzels (although you can also just get a plain churro here). It was a pretty decent churro, although the pretzels tasted a little stale to us.
Try it for yourself for $7.25.
