Beginning today, March 1st, 2022, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is adding 200 brand-new Disney Vacation Club villas to the hotel. Guest rooms in the Big Pine Key building will be transformed into these new rooms.

Among the new villas will be resort studios, deluxe studios, 1- and 2-bedroom villas, and 3-bedroom grand villas.

We’ve already seen some concept art for what the new rooms will look like when all the refurbishments are finished. And we can say now that the updates look very luxurious!

The refurbishments began today, and Disney is expecting to finish sometime in the summer of this year (2022). We can’t wait to see the finished product!
