The fountains for “World of Color” have surfaced above the waters of Paradise Bay once again as work continues to prep the show for its April 22 return.
While the fountains went back underwater in February following a multi-month drain of Paradise Bay, we spotted them above the water again this week on our most recent visit.
The last time we checked in on the fountains, we noted the projector houses had been reinstalled. The projector houses were originally removed last year.
We can see the projector housings here as well, fully installed and testing.
Paradise Bay Lagoon remains refilled otherwise.
The fountains are only a few inches above the water for the moment, with maintenance workers visible walking along the platform surface, presumably doing final checks on equipment before testing on the show begins.
Starting April 22, 2022, guests at Disney California Adventure can experience World of Color once again at 9:00 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. The 22-minute show takes place in Paradise Gardens Park near Pixar Pier and the Pacific Wharf.
