Can a bakery count as an attraction? Around here, we frequent Gideon’s Bakehouse so often that we have our routine down to a science. We even rope drop this little shop in Disney Springs — it’s basically treated with as much importance as some of the most popular rides in Disney World!
Gideon’s Bakehouse
If you’ve ever tried a Gideon’s Bakehouse cookie, you might understand our obsession. Between the monthly cookie releases, hot cookie hour, and secret menu items, there’s always something new to try! Now that it’s March, it’s time for a new seasonal cookie at Gideon’s Bakehouse. Let’s find out about this month’s theme!
Mourning Joe serves as this month’s Gideon’s Bakehouse mascot, and the returning-favorite Coffee Toffee Chocolate Chip cookies are inspired by this tragic character (the sea salt is said to be harvested from Mourning Joe’s tears).
The (HUGE, by the way) cookie is filled and topped with freshly ground espresso beans and sea salt, and made with toffee and chocolate in a vanilla bean cookie. We’ve actually tried this cookie before (and LOVED it) so we’re excited to see it return!
Coffee Toffee Cookie at Gideon’s Bakehouse
This month, there is also a secret menu item! According to the Gideon’s Bakehouse Instagram account, “If you ask politely in Gideon’s at Disney Springs, we will present you with a super yummy Salted Caramel Nitro Cold Brew!” It’s only available at the Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs throughout the month of March.
