SO many Disney fans (young and old!) enjoy dressing up as their favorite characters.

Getting the chance to dress up in a fun outfit at a Disney park is just one of the many reasons that Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (although closed currently), BOO Bash, and Dapper Days are so successful. But since visiting the parks in a full costume is against park rules most of the time, we’ve got a GREAT alternative.

If you aren’t familiar with Disney’s costume policies, it’s important to know that costumes and costume masks are NOT permitted to be worn by guests 14 and older, except during specific Halloween and Christmas events. While this can be a bit of a bummer for kids-at-heart who are not visiting during the holiday season, there IS another way to rep your favorite character without breaking the rules: DisneyBounding!

DisneyBounding is a more subtle, fashion-forward way to dress up like your favorite character by utilizing their signature color palette and accessories. Rather than dressing in a full costume, you put together a more casual, everyday outfit inspired by a Disney character. Belle

We’re going to start our DisneyBound suggestions with a comfortable twist on a classic Disney Princess. In her quiet village, Belle’s signature look is a blue dress, white top, bow hairdo, and lots of books as accessories. But it’s not too hard to make her outfit more casual!
