Though some construction walls were removed, the refurbishment of Pirates of the Caribbean and New Orleans Square in Disneyland continues.
The walkway directly in front of Pirates of the Caribbean is being refurbished.
Walls with photo-ops partially block the view but we can see some of the work from above.
Some of the concrete has been torn up.
Thin metal rods crisscross the ground.
Blue Bayou Restaurant is now closed for refurbishment and construction walls are up in front of it.
“Something new is cooking” inside the old Le Bat en Rouge location, but we have not seen or heard any updates.
There are two tall towers of scrim in the land, too.
Disney is hoping to improve traffic flow through New Orleans Square before “Fantasmic” returns next month.
