Magic Kingdom
- Canopy installation is almost complete above TRON Lightcycle / Run in Magic Kingdom.
- Construction walls have been erected next to Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. in Magic Kingdom, blocking a walkway that will eventually lead to TRON Lightcycle / Run.
EPCOT
- Disney Parks shared a POV video on TikTok of the model train in the Germany Pavilion of EPCOT.
- Marvel has announced that the Celestial Eson will be the villain of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT.
- Imagineer Zach Riddley has shared more details from inside the Wonders of Xandar Pavilion at EPCOT, which houses Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and will open on May 27.
- Traveler’s Café at EPCOT will close on April 18, 2022. This could indicate an opening day for the new Connections Café and Eatery.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Sulley from “Monster’s, Inc.” will again meet at Walt Disney Presents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Expedition Everest has reopened a day early at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and will be available tomorrow through Disney Genie+. The attraction has been closed since early January for refurbishment.
Disney Springs
- Salt & Straw signage has been added to the ice cream shop’s location at Disney Springs, which is expected to open next week.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- According to eyewitnesses, a young zebra passed away at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge yesterday.
Other Walt Disney World News
- Celebrate more magic with extended hours at all four Walt Disney World theme parks from May 1 through 7 and at EPCOT throughout June.
Disneyland Resort
- Now through May 31, Disneyland Resort Magic Key holders can save 20% on hotel rooms at Hilton Anaheim.
New Merchandise
- A new Loungefly mini backpack inspired by the “Mickey Mouse” shorts and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is available at Walt Disney World.
- A new light-up ornament celebrating 50 years of Walt Disney World will be released by Hallmark on October 8, 2022 — just after the resort’s 51st anniversary.
- More merchandise featuring Mickey Mouse, Figment, Orange Bird, and Spike the Bee has arrived at the 2022 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. We found all of these in Creations Shop.
- We now have our first look at the “it’s a small world” series of the Mickey Mouse: the Main Attraction collection.
- Batter up! A new collector’s baseball honoring the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World is now available at the Emporium in Magic Kingdom.
- We’re getting “Fired Up!” about a new “Inside Out” bottle we found at the World of Disney Store, featuring the ever-fiery Anger.
- More “Turning Red” toys have arrived at Disneyland Resort, including a fluffy red panda Mei plush.
- Whether you have a dalmatian or not, you can dress your pet up like one thanks to this new “One Hundred and One Dalmatians” harness and collar available at Disneyland Resort. We found these in Kingswell Shop at Disney California Adventure.
- Walt Disney World has released a special version of the retro Magic Kingdom map that has been available as a folded map and featured on Vault Collection items; this new version is framed and includes seven pins of Magic Kingdom icons.
