- Some short construction walls and tarps have gone up around a patch of sidewalk outside Casey’s Corner on Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom, presumably for refurbishment.

- Havaianas will be hosting Disney Springs Break at Waterview Park in Disney Springs starting this week.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- A special offer is now available to Disney Visa Cardmembers looking to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel from August 28 through September 19, 2022.
New Merchandise
- Express your emotions with this new “Turning Red” ear headband featuring Meilin in both her red panda and human forms.
- A new Loungefly mini backpack inspired by Minnie Mouse has arrived at Walt Disney World. We first found it at Creations Shop in EPCOT.
- Spring has sprung and the warmer weather means it’s time for ice cream! You can cuddle up with some ice cream treats after eating your favorite ice cream treats thanks to this new ice cream truck plush from Walt Disney World.
- Two new Disney nuiMOs outfits inspired by “The Mandalorian” are available at Walt Disney World.
- A new rose gold Minnie Mouse ear headband is available at Walt Disney World. We first found these ears in World of Disney at Disney Springs.
Other Walt Disney World News
- Governor Ron DeSantis is expanding a special session of the Florida Legislature starting today to get rid of districts that were established prior to November 1968, targeting the Reedy Creek Improvement District established around Walt Disney World Resort in 1967.
- The runDisney site crashed as registrants attempted to gain entry to the 2023 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.
- The Orlando International Airport announced this morning that face masks will be optional at the airport and facilities.
- After the runDisney website crashed this morning and registration was delayed, guests were finally able to start registering for the 2023 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend starting at 12:30 p.m. ET. As of 1:15 p.m., the 5k and 10k, Goofy and Dopey challenges are all sold out.
- After a Florida judge voided the CDC’s federal mask mandate for public transportation, Walt Disney World has updated its face mask policy to say masks are optional in all areas.
- Last month, we reported that Walt Disney World Cast Members were having difficulty getting into the parks, partially due to blockout dates. All Cast Member blockout dates have now been lifted until Memorial Day.
Disneyland Resort
- Both Ronto Roasters and Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland are unexpectedly closed today.
- Even more “Turning Red” merchandise has poofed into Disneyland Resort. We found this Meilin mug at the Emporium in Disneyland and the figurine playset at Big Top Toys in Disney California Adventure.
- Anaheim Police Department call logs for March 2022 show officers took action in response to 25 calls at Disneyland Resort during the month.
- If you’ve got your regular, non-pretzel Spirit Jersey in a twist, you might love this new pretzel-themed Spirit Jersey, which finally arrived at Disneyland this week! A matching Loungefly mini backpack is also now available.
- A sparkly blue Mickey ear headband has sailed all the way from Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, to Disneyland Resort. We found these in Adventureland Bazaar at Disneyland.
- A plethora of new pins, both open edition, and limited release, have arrived at Disneyland Resort. We found most of these in the 20th Century Music Company at Disneyland Park.
- A guest snapped photos of The Wasp holding a tiny, Pym Particle-shrunken Flik’s Fun Fair from A Bug’s Land, which closed in 2018 to make way for the Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure.

- Skydance New Media and Lucasfilm Games are developing a new narrative-drive, action-adventure game featuring an original story set in the “Star Wars” universe.
Disney+
- A behind-the-scenes look at season one of “The Book of Boba Fett” will air on Disney+ on May 4, 2022.
The Walt Disney Company
- A fan-made Club Penguin website has been shut down and three individuals were arrested for copyright infringement.
- The Disney Parks Twitter account just teased a special livestream event for tomorrow April 20, 2022 at 11:30 p.m. EST.
- An excerpt from an upcoming book “Binge Times: Inside Hollywood’s Furious Billion-Dollar Battle to Take Down Netflix” reveals that Steve Jobs, the prolific founder of Apple, was the big reason Disney began its shift to digital content so early in the game.
