It’s almost May, which means that many people are getting ready for those big summer vacations! If you’ve been doing some research, you might have seen that travel can be tricky right now with big crowds at tourist destinations, technical issues and reduced staff at airports, and inflated prices. So why not make it a bit easier on yourself and just sail away on a cruise ship instead?
Disney has announced their Disney Cruise Line itineraries for summer 2023, and there are some exciting additions to the line-up, including several cruises on the brand-new ship, the Disney Wish! We’ve got the latest updates on the destinations as well as WHEN you can book your cruise for next year. Take a look now, and be sure to set your alarm for the booking date that applies to you so that you don’t miss out.
The Disney Cruise Line itineraries for the summer of 2023 are available to see now on Disney Cruise Line’s website. You’ll find sailings to the Bahamas, the Caribbean, the Pacific Coast, the British Isles, and other destinations. You can even see sailing dates for each itinerary listed, as well as prices for the various rooms available.
The Disney Dream will be sailing in Europe for part of the summer, with one itinerary showing a 9-night Mediterranean and Greek Isles cruise. This cruise will stop in Marseilles, France Livorno (Florence, Pisa), Italy Kefalonia, Greece Piraeus (Athens), Greece Santorini, Greece Naples (Pompeii), and Italy Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy.
Or you can book on Disney’s newest cruise ship, the Disney Wish, which is sailing on 3- and 4-night cruises to the Bahamas from Port Canaveral. These itineraries list stops at Nassau, Bahamas, and Castaway Cay (Disney’s private island).
You’ll notice that right now the summer 2023 cruises aren’t available for booking. Instead of the “Continue” button, you’ll see “Coming Soon.” So when can you reserve your spot on these ships? Sales open to the general public on May 9th, 2022. Beginning at 8AM EST on that day, everyone can reserve bookings for the new itineraries by going online, selecting a date, and reserving your spot.
But if you’re a Platinum, Gold, or Silver Castwaway Club Member, you can book your sailings a few days EARLY! (Castaway Club Members are anyone who has been on at least 1 Disney Cruise before, and the ranking of silver, gold, or platinum depends on how many cruises you’ve sailed on.) Disney Vacation Club Members, Golden Oak Club Members, and Adventure Insiders with Adventures by Disney can also book reservations for these itineraries early.
Here’s a breakdown of when you can book:
