EPCOT
- Though an exact opening date for Connections Café and Eatery at EPCOT has not been announced, the restaurant does seem to be approaching completion as flooring, lights, and a mural are installed.
- The 2022 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival returns this year on July 14. It will run through November 19, with many festival favorites returning.
- With Easter just a few weeks away, the hunt is on at EPCOT with the return of the Egg-Stravaganza!
- After years of speculation, and with the grand opening on the horizon, we now know that Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT will not have audio animatronics.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort officially reopened today at Walt Disney World for the first time in two years, since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
New Merchandise
- Today we discovered the debut of new commemorative Coke bottles in honor of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.
- Fans can brighten up even the darkest night with a pair of newly-reimagined, colorful night lights available at Walt Disney World!
- Everyone’s favorite barbershop quartet, the Dapper Dans, is now starring on a Loungefly hat.
- As many Disney fans already know, “it was all started by a mouse.” Now, the Vault Collection for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary pays tribute to that mouse with a new retro-inspired t-shirt!
- The Glacier Kitchen in the Main Street Confectionery at Magic Kingdom has a new “Play in the Park” souvenir cup available.

- Walt Disney World Annual Passholders awoke this morning to find the available park pass selections drastically reduced in comparison to yesterday, and then later refilled.
- Standard character meet and greets are finally returning to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Aulani, and the Disney Cruise Line.
- Walt Disney World has added a new statement to its webpage about Disney Genie+ estimating how often guests will be able to take advantage of the upcharge service each day.
- Gov. Ron DeSantis expressed his support for ending Disney’s “special privileges” in Florida, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Disneyland Resort
- The Easter Bunny has hopped into The Happiest Place on Earth, and guests can get in on the hunt for eggs with the return of Eggstravaganza at Disneyland!
- A new ombre Spirit Jersey has arrived at Disneyland Resort.
Disney Cruise Line
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has lifted their COVID-19 risk advisory for cruise ships, according to NPR‘s Jonathan Franklin.
- With only a few months to go before the inaugural sailing of the Disney Wish, the newest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet reached a major milestone today.
Entertainment and Media
- More guests have been added to the lineup for Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022, including Giancarlo Esposito, Joonas Suotamo, and many others.
Disney+
- General Kenobi himself, Ewan McGregor, has announced that the premiere for “Obi-Wan Kenobi” is moving to a Friday debut and will now be available on May 27.
